Odd Moments in the Animal Kingdom
While walking across the parking lot
at the St Jacob’s Farmers’ Market
where they auction cattle,
I slipped on some ice
to catch my balance I raised
both arms quickly and
inadvertently put a bid in on a
Holstein calf, apparently it was
the highest bid.
While walking around the lake in
Stratford I noticed the Canada Geese
returning from their migratory flights
through America, realizing the
problematic political times I wondered
which I could trust and which were
double agents?
